What Spa should i take my girlfriend to in Bristol, Aztec west hotel or The Spa at Cadbury house?

Q. I want to take my girlfriend for spa day. Ive narrowed it down to two choices Aztec west hotel in Bristol or The Spa at Cadbury House also in Bristol. Theres only £20 difference between them. Has anyone been to either of them? Or do you know any review sites i can use

Why are so many hotels called Hotel Bristol?

Q. Is there some historic reason for this? You dont find Hotel Liverpools or HotelSheffields all over the world.

They are named after Lord Hervey, 4th Earl of Bristol, a roguish 18th-century aristocrat and cleric (he was Bishop of Derry), who spent much of his life on the Continent where he demanded the best hospitality money could buy. Where in bristol can I go to watch the city lights?

Q. Where in Bristol can I drive to overlook the city lights etc? Somewhere romantic I can drive my girlfriend? Clifton suspension bridge isn't really overlooking anything apart from a river, so any other suggestions would be appreciated!

A. I would suggest Brandon Hill, which has a great view of the whole city. A really lovely hotel, The Berkeley Square is literally a 2 minute walk away so this could be your base. It has a private members club and an award winning restaurant - should fit the bill with the romantic theme you're going for!
