Which website offers cheaper hotel rates?

Q. My boyfriend and I are both 21. We both go to school and work part time. We would like to go on a small vacation in May or June, but we are tight on money. I'm trying to find the cheapest hotel rates I can possibly get. I was wondering if anyone knew if there was a difference between Orbitz, Hotels.com, Priceline, and Expedia. Do any of these websites have significantly lower hotel prices than another? Or are they all about the same?

Thanks for your help!

A. Expedia and Priceline are Expensive So when i was at work at Prudential, someone recommend to me that I should book at http://www.firstworldclasstravel.com and ever since then i book my travel with them and save a lot of money.

What is the best internet site to book a vacation through?
Q. I'm thinking about booking a 5 day trip to Jamaica, Hawaii, or Bahamas. Anyone know what internet sites will most likely get me the cheapest airfare and hotel rates?

A. I think your best option is going to be to book with a travel agent. Find one that specializes in the destinations you are looking into. This way they will have all the answers to your questions, be able to give recommendations, etc.

Otherwise, you are better off booking air and hotels directly with the companies. Avoid sites like Expedia and Orbitz, their prices tend to be higher than booking with the companies directly or with a travel agent. Not to mention all the people that have had problems with bookings. You may also have difficulty in making changes or cancellations. Since you are really aren't sure yet of what you want to do, I would definitely stay away from the online discounters, at least until you decide on where you want to go.

If you are wanting to book with the online discounters, they are all pretty much the same as price. You could look into cancellation fees and other policies to decide which one to book with!

Hope this helps!
