What is the nicest place to stay in Banff?

Q. What are the nicest hotels in Banff? Want comfort, scenery and luxury.

A. Banff Springs Hotel is definitely the nicest place to stay in Banff. Beautiful and comfortable rooms, great views, but fairly expensive. If you're willing to pay for it, that would DEFINITELY be the place you should stay.

Would like to plan a vacation to Canada. Recommendations on cities and other attractions?
Q. I am interested in Quebec to experience the city. What to do there? I am also interested in Banff and Lake Louise for its natural beauty. What other recommendations do you have? What have you liked/disliked? Places to stay/places to visit? Thank you!

A. I live in Calgary, Alberta. Let me tell you the Banff Springs Hotel is fantastic! They have great Hot Springs! There are so many different things to see. The Hotel is said to be haunted. Sometimes you can see a lady in a wedding dress walking down the main stairs...
There's also a candy shop that has some of the most delicious candies from all over the world! Ummm, fudge!!
Victoria City in B.C. is also great. A lot of different cultures in that city. And their museum is something else, too.
And of course, don't forget about Calgary. Our zoo is huge! When was the last time you saw a polar bear? They even have an interesting dinosaur exhibit. And Heritage Park, with one of the oldest trains in the history of Canada that goes all the way around the park. They also have a wax museum depicting what life was like 150 to 200 years ago with real antiques.
There is so much to do on the west side of Canada, sorry I don't have much info about the east. I hope you have a really unforgettable vacation!!

What's the easiest route to travel from Houston, Tx to Banff, Alberta. What airlines have the least stops?
Q. I am applying to Fairmont Hotel this summer. Any other info on the town of banff would help?
I can't rent a car so does the airport in Calgary have a shuttle bus to Banff or something like that?
