Would MCT get a couple hours of liberty today?

Q. MCT in Camp Pendleton.
Hotel Co. is in field week, so they didnt get liberty this weekend, but because of the holiday today, will they get maybe a couple hours of liberty?

A. Nope. If you're in the field for a holiday, you miss out. It's not like after deployment you get to make up for all the holidays you missed while you were gone.

Which training were harder for you MCT or Boot Camp?
Q. Alright I just got done with first week of MCT and I was just wondering for those who went through it already, which was harder for you, MCT or Boot Camp?
BT: Echo Co. Plt. 2113
MCT: Hotel Co. Plt. 4
I'm in west coast, in Camp Pedelton, surrounded by nothing but mountains.

A. Well at the time MCT seemed harder for me then boot camp..Our humps seemed to be sprints lasting about 10-15 miles, or the even faster shorter sprints of about 5 mles..

Boot camp was more stressful but MCT was more strenuous when i went through it. The hills at Pendleton can get to you..

But none of this training tops the training we did once in the FMF. For the next three and a half years I would hump a radio along with al my other gear along side the infantry .

When look back at it today the flett was easily tougher then MCT or boot camp.
