Can anyone recommend a decent hotel in Central London?

Q. My boyfriend and I will be over in London in early july and i'm have trouble finding a decent reasonably priced hotel. We're looking to stay about a four or five nights an are looking to spend no more than £180-£200 each on accommodation. Preference is around Hyde park, Earls Court, or Camden Town but we're open to somewhere a little bit further out if it means we can find somewhere that bit cheaper.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

A. County Hotel, London (Euston) Upper Woburn Place, London, WC1H 0JW, England
2 Stars Prices from £28.00

Basic and clean, 10 mins walk for St Pancras. Always stay there when I visit London

What are some reasonably priced hotels in the downtown Chicago area?
Q. Ones that are close to, or easy to access Hyde Park.
What CTA lines are near it?
Thanks so much

A. hmm im unfamiliar with the area, but you could try www.campusvisit.com, gives discount hotel rates

What is the area near the museum of Science like?
Q. We're taking a family trip to Chicago...museum of Science and Industry. I believe it's in the Hyde Park area, South Lake Shore Drive. Would that be a safe area for a family to stay at a hotel? Specifically the Ramada Lake Shore? Thanks.

A. Personally, I would try to stay further north. The Hyde Park area is not one that you would take a walk after dark.
If you stay right on Lake Shore Drive, you are probably OK. But anything west or south of Hyde Park area is not great.
I am trying to be somewhat diplomatic here. Ramada Lake Shore is is just north of Hyde Park, and very close to public housing areas. OK during the day, but not at night.
Hope this helps.
