Is paying compensation to paramilitary victims of Northern Ireland's Troubles divisive?

Q.

A. To be honest if they go ahead with the plans to give compensation to the people who committed the crimes as well, then it could be divisive, but nobody can say that the victims or their families don't deserve some kind of compensation. The plan will have to be looked into and discussed a lot more, and no doubt will face a lot of opposition but IMO it should be done. Already the first minister Peter Robinson has voiced his concerns at the proposals and at the launch of the document in the Europa hotel in Belfast, there were a number of protesters loudly voicing their disapproval mainly at the idea of the perpetrators or their families getting compensation as well. The only good thing is that the two men who came up with the proposals, Dr Robin Eames and Dennis Bailey are two highly respected men and with a bit of time should come up with a plan that maybe everyone can agree to.

Hotels In Belfast?
Q. Does anyone know any nice luxury Hotels in Belfast? 5Star prefferably. Heard about the Merchant is it worth a visit?

Ta

A. The two best luxury hotels in Belfast are as follows:

The Merchant
Is an excellent hotel, it is in a beautiful old Victorian building and it was refitted out to a very high standard. To top it all off it is in the best location for a Belfast hotel. its located in the 'Cathedral Quarter' and is surrounded by nice bars and resturants and is just a few minutes walk to the main shopping street.

Malmaison
Is a great hotel, also housed in a refitted Victorian Building. Its location is not quite as good. You have to cross a very busy road to get to it. Its also slightly older so the rooms may be showing some wear and tear but the bar and resturant inside are both very good.

You also have your standard Chain hotels, The Hilton, Radisson and the local Europa Hotel....but they are not nearly as luxurious as the the Merchant and Malmaison. The Radisson is located on the outskirts of the City Centre and is quite a walk. The others are in decent enough locations.

good luck choosing

Does Hillary recognize the truth when she see it?
Q. I remember as first lady Hillary proclaimed that she was named after Sir Edmund Hillary, despite the fact that she was 3 or 4 when he made his mark by scaling Mt Everest.

during a speech she made to the Stormont parliament she said that Belfastâs landmark Europa Hotel was devastated by an explosion when she first stayed there in 1995.However, the last Provisional IRA bomb to damage the Europa was detonated in 1993, two years before President Clinton and his wife checked in for the night.

and who could forget her dancing to sniper fire when she got off the plane in Bosnia.

And lets not forget Bills double talk about not have sex with THAT terrible woman.

Yes the Clintons are nothing but liars but is this really the best that america has to offer? Is that why we accept such low life's to hold our highest offices?

Are we really all just a bunch of scared sheep?

Can you all say BAAAAAAAAAAAAA?????????????

A. ~You bet she does...She is an intelligent lady.
