What are some affordable quality hotels in Downtown Seattle?

Q. My husband and I are visiting Seatle in August for a wedding and are looking for a reasonable priced($100 or less, preferably) hotel for saturday/sunday night. The brides family is staying at the Quality Inn on Aurora Ave N, but it is $125 a night. Any other non-hooker type hotels around this area?

A. Well the Kings Inn in Seattle is pretty good its in the nice part of downtown and the price is between $89 to $109 for a 1 queen size bedroom http://www.kingsinnseattle.com/

Or the 8th ave Inn has rooms starting from $79 a night and is also pretty nice http://www.eighthavenueinn.com/

Also there are a lot of motels along Aurora Ave and some are pretty decent and those are cheaper, you just have to drive along Aurora ave to find them.
Hotels are expensive in Seattle.

What are the best hotels & clubs in downtown Seattle? I will be staying there for New Years Eve this year.?
Q. I am planning on spending New Years Eve in downtown Seattle. I am not from that area, and want to know which hotels you'd recommend downtown that are close to the bars/clubs. Also, which bars/clubs are the most fun on New Years Eve?

A. Maybe Pioneer Square or somewhere by the Space Needle. I guess it depends on if you want to see the fireworks or just want to hang out with a lot of other crazy drunk folks in Pioneer Square.
