Q. My friend and I want to take a road trip from St. Paul, Minnesota to Chicago, hitting Wisconsin Dells on the way. What would the general cost of that be for like gas, food, hotel, etc round trip? Oh how long would something like this take?

A. St. Paul to Chicago is about 350 miles and Wi Dells is on the way. For Food, Hotel and Gas, plan on 125 each per day. Entertainment and misc. outside of that is up to you.
How long you are planning in each place matters since Chicago will be more expensive in all the catagories.

Q. is there anyway to search cheap hotels closest to a certian address. for instance, my roommate and i are going to st paul this weekend and need a cheap hotel to stay in and would like the place we stay to be close to where we are going. We are going to Station 4 to see a band we like, is there any place i can put in the addie for station 4 so my search for cheap hotel/motels starts in that area. or does anyone have any suggestions?? thanks!

the hotels there are very reasonable. but prob. too far from where you're staying.

What sports arenas can you get to by skywalk from a hotel?
Q. I know of two in Minnesota that I've gone to for hockey. The DECC in Duluth (decc.org) and the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul (xcelenergycenter.com). The DECC is so much fun because you walk out your hotel room, down the elevator to the skywalk, and then 10 min. walk to the DECC, and during the day your can walk around the concession hallway of the arena which on one side is all glass right on Lake Superior.
A. Hmmmmm Can't really ever recall going from my hotel room to a hockey game.....actually you can do it for the upcoming World Championships in Halifax at the Metro Centre.
Oh, I have gone to a hockey game at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas (LA vs Colorado) where the arena is in the hotel/casino. Also went to see Pearl Jam there. Woot. Woot.
