Holiday at Singapore?
Q. I'm from Australia and i'm going to Singapore next year on Feburary.
Are there any good but not to expensive hotels?
Will it be hot or cold in that time of year?
I'm planning on staying there for a week. Around how much would i need to take?
What are some good tourist places to go to?

This is my first time going on a holiday so i would be happy you can help me and probably tell me anything else that i might of forgotten to mention. Thanks :D

A. singapore is hot all year round..there is a dry a wet season, but really not much difference. it is very geared to tourism and since the island is so small, very convenient as well. public transport is excellent, and you can stay anywhere except geylang district which is a red light area. all the international hotels are good, so check on tripadvisor for the best deal. marina bay sands hotel deserves a special mention for its design and amazing pool!
visit sentosa island, singapore zoo (best in the world, take the night safari), see the merlion and trendy clark quay, visit the botanic gardens that are full of orchids, ride the singapore flyer and go to changi museum. apart from the main attractions, the streets and different areas of singapore are great to take walks and of course shop. go to orchard road, holland village, chinatown and little india for the best shopping, it's really fascinating! you won't be bored in singapore, and remember to bring swimmers since the humid heat is different to australia.
have fun!
