What is the Best City in Ireland?

Q. Next summer I'm taking a trip around Europe and was just wondering, what is a good place to go in Ireland because that is one of the places I'm going.

A. If you're looking for tourist attractions, then definitely Dublin. Its the capital city of Ireland and has an abundance of places to see and visit. Including one of the largest parks in Europe - Phoenix Park- which is also the residence of the Irish President. Also Dublin has a very vibrant nightlife and a lot of entertainment venues, notably Temple Bar. Stephen's Green, located in central Dublin contains many restaurants, cafes, shopping centres and hotels. And a 5 minute walk away from there will bring you to one of the oldest colleges in Europe-Trinity College. Its a must see, its massive! Also Dublin has many options for transportation for tourists, including tour buses which will let you explore Dublin for a very cheap price and learn its rich and varied history, there are even Viking buses!

WHEN IN DUBLIN, IRELAND. WHAT TO DO FOR ONE DAY?
Q. GOING TO BE IN DUBLIN IRELAND FOR A WHOLE DAY. VISITING FROM AMERICA. WHAT IS THE BEST THING TO DO OUT THEIR AN BEST PLACE TO EAT. IM GOING TO BE OUT THEIR IN THE END OF MARCH.

A. In Dublin get a ticket for the hop on/hop off bus. Double decker green buses. The bus includes guided commentary. Stops at all the prime spots. If you like beer, then the Guinness Store House is a must and I found Kilmainham Gaol fascinating.

In the previous post, I stayed at that Trinity Capital Hotel, it's really in a good location. Kinda funky inside (better like purple). It's across the road from Trinity College and the "book of kels". Temple Bar is a short walk also.

If you are there for the evening, and you like story telling - you will really enjoy "An Evening of Food, Folklore and Fairies - http://www.irishfolktours.com/index.html Get off the hop on/hop off bus at the Jamison Distillery, the Brazen Head is about 2 blocks to your right if you face the direction the bus is headed.
