Does Co.Clare, Ireland, have a regular bus service?

Q. I'm thinking about booking a hotel in Ennis in february for two nights with my boyfriend, we want to go to the Aillwee Caves & Bunratty Castle, but neither of us can drive.
I've been trying to find out online if there's a bus service we can use, but I'm still a bit lost.

Thanks :]

The search engine for that site is also quite good.

So for my honeymoon in a few years...?
Q. I would like to go to Ireland. I've seen pictures and movies that have been in Ireland and it looks so great. Is it really cold there all the time, and is it really as pretty as pictures portray it to be?
*Don't worry I'm not 13, I'm old enough to be talking about honeymooning ha-ha*

A. Its not cold all the time but the weather is very unpredicable even in the middle of summer you might get a few weeks of constant rain. Id reccommend you invest in a light rain jacket and bring clothes you can layer so that you'll be ready for hot or cold weather.

Ireland is beautiful and has some fantastic scenery depending on where you go. If you visit the big cities like Dublin, Cork, Galway etc you could be anywhere in the world except the people are probably much friendlier. Id reccommend that if you want to see the real ireland and beautiful countryside to stay out of the major cities. Hire a car and tour around,

If your goin to be here in Aug then pencil in the 10th, 11th and 12th and stay in Killorglin, Co Kerry for Puck Fair. Its the same dates every year. Its an old Pagan Festival where a goat is captured and placed on a stand foe 3 days and nights as ruler of the Kingdom(Kerry). Nothing cruel happens him RSPCA are involved etc in case you're worried. Its great crack, the place is always packed and loads of street entertainment etc. That area itself is gorgeous, the views of Cahersieven and beaches in Glenbeigh where you can take a horse trek on the beach are fantastic, Dingle is also an hour away where you can take a boat trip to see Fungie the Dolphin. There are not too many hotels in Killorglin there are few B&Bs or try booking a holiday home but you'd want to do it well in advance. Nearest airport to fly into would be Kerry or Shannon.

In shannon Bunratty castle and folkpark is worth a look its lovely too and a very enjoyable day out.

I live in South Tipperary myself and so better mention a few of our own local attractions tho as you can tell I have 110% fallen in love with Kerry. Around Tipp there are also some fantastic scenery such as the Nire valley, Mahon Falls etc

If you need any other info just add a comment and ill do my best to get back to you.

Any suggestions for things to do near Ennis Ireland?
Q.

A. Dromoland Castle near Clarecastle(town outside Ennis) is a real posh country club/golf course/hotel with really nice grounds that you can walk around

You're near the beaches of Kilkee,Lahinch and Miltown Malbay and the Cliffs of Moher

Drive to Shannon and go see the planes take off! sounds boring but it's really nice at nighttime!

Bunratty Castle has a folk park that you can visit, its quite a nice place actually!
