Do you know if there are any cheap hotels near Stansted Airport?

Q. Im going to spend a night there because my flight on the next day will be at 4 am..so I don't really want to waste so much on a night's stay. I've searched hotels near the airport but the cheapest is 50pounds per night. Is there any other cheaper hotels, if possible? Thanks so much.

A. You won't find much cheaper than that. The Travel Lodge hotels at Gt. Dunmow and Bishops Stortford (nearest to Stansted) are around £48 a night for a room and you will still need to arrange transport to the airport in the wee small hours if you aren't taking a car.
I'd be tempted to go with the first suggestion - arrive as late as possible and have a nap at the airport, if you need it (or sleep on the plane after take off. If the flight is at 4.0 a.m., you'll have to be at the airport at 2.0 a.m. at the latest which means you will hardly have got to bed before it's time to be up again.

In which part of Singapore would it be good to book a hotel?
Q. It would be my first time to travel to SG alone. Im trying to look for affordable hotels. So far Ive searched hotels in the areas of Little India and Orchard. Is it safe in Little India? and is it accessible enough and near the tourists places to visit?

A. If you choose to stay at Little India, you can definitely get good and affordable accommodation easily due to the easy availability of hotels there. Though the area is a bit dirty and dingy by Singapore standards, you can enjoy a safe stay there provided you exercise general caution, especially during the night. You have many Indian restaurants close by, and there is also the Singapore Gujarati Bhawan and an Indian temple close by. You can visit other tourist spots easily, thanks to the cheap and nominal rates of public transport. Do visit the Zoo and the National Museum.

What age are you when youre adult on hotels?
Q. Im going to book a hotel for me and a friend. Shes only 17 and im 18. When i search hotels should i take 2 adults or 1 adult and 1 child? some of the sites does not give information about age. And when it says child 0-17. are you adult when you are 17? this is confusing

A. To book the hotel you must be 18 i.e. an adult. You should book for two adults. For the purposes of booking child rates, it usually means someone under the age of 14.
