What hotel do opposing teams stay at when playing the Chicago Bulls?

Q. What hotel do the opposing teams stay at when playing the Chicago Bulls? I went to the Ritz-Carlton and a team didn't show up. I'm thinking the Peninsula or the Omni hotel in downtown Chicago. This is for autograph purposes only.

A. the Mariott Garden hotels near 18th street downtown,

What hotel do visiting teams playing the Chicago Bulls stay at?
Q. I've heard a few people say they stay at the Ritz-Carlton downtown near water tower as well as the Peninsula and the Omni. I just asked someone a few weeks ago and they also told me the Marriott downtown would also be another possibility. Do any of you know where they may stay at?

A. Typically it's the Ritz. Here's a trick. Call reservations, and ask for the teams group rate. If there's a group rate, it's usually on a rooming list, so they can't book it. But they'll tell you it's a rooming list. That means the coach has to book it. That means it's the team, and not just a bunch of fanboys.

If you do meet them, be respectful. Don't walk up to their dinner table and ask for an autograph, unfortunately, if they complain, the hotel will remove you.

Questions about Omni Hotel Chicago?
Q. Hi there I plan to be going to Omni Hotel Chicago for my Honeymoon I have a few questions that maybe some of you can help answer.

1. Is there any other location to park besides the $50 valet?
2. Is there any discounts out there for this hotel?
3. Is this hotel as nice as people say it is?
4. If there is a better hotel for the same or less money what is it?

We love to shop and dine so we thought this would be a great place to spend 5-6 nights.

Thanks!

A. 1. Is there any other location to park besides the $50 valet? Right downtown there are not a lot of places that you can park for cheap. If you are willing to leave your car a few miles north you can park for free on the streets and then take the train downtown. If you are planning to stay downtown most of the time you probably won't need your car anyway.

2. Is there any discounts out there for this hotel? Not sure

3. Is this hotel as nice as people say it is? Yes - it is a nice hotel but there are a lot of really nice hotels in downtown Chicago. You should look around a bit b/c with the bad economy I have seen some really great deals recently. Look at the Hard Rock Hotel - I recently saw a deal for $99/night.

4. If there is a better hotel for the same or less money what is it? See above. Try checking out www.bing.com and click on their travel link They have great tools to help find you the lowest prices.
