if i want to book a room for 4 people does the "standard hotel room" provide two full beds?

Q. It's a cheap price and I'm worried that a standard hotel room will end up being one king size bed for 4 people or two twins or something. I certainly want 2 doubles, fulls, or queens. How can I know that I will be getting that when I check in?

Is there a standard for hotel room size?
Q. If a site plan is 229 feet by 52 feet and the plan calls for 121 hotel rooms
how many floors would the hotel have to be considering this to be a
standard hotel with lobby, restaurant, conference rooms etc., on the
ground floor?

A. A standard hotel room size is 400 sqr ft.

How many square feet should the base be for a 50-60 story hotel?
Q. Im taking a CAD class in school and we are assigned to create the floor plans of a hotel. I already have a design in mind and I want to have it around 50-60 stories tall. Its not circular or triangular but more of a square base. So how many square feet should the base be?

Also, how many square feet is a standard hotel room (the average)?

A. 50 stories, you'll need at least 4 elevator shafts. Plus the room for the stairs.
Hotel room size vary for simple (and small) to lavish, multilevel penthouse suites (some with their private elevator), so there is no standard. But a 50 story hotel would normally be expected to be in an area where land is expensive, and the hotel would then cater to affluent patrons who expect and are willing to pay for large accommodations.

How big the floor plan depends on how many rooms you need, how big you want each to be, and so on. Check out the SkyScraper site (see link) that will give you an idea of how wide building are as a function of how tall they are. But also how much variation there is.
