Q. My husband has asked me to organise a Christmas party for his work. As we are new to Brisbane we donât really know the area.
Does anyone from Brisbane know of a great place where you can have a nice meal and maybe a dance after? Itâs to seat about 50 people.

A. I think a good idea would be to rent a ballroom at a ritzy or cool hotel.that would be a great place to have a Christmas Party.

A. Depending on what you plan to see & do , my guess is that with food , transport & entry fees etc a you need to budget $150 a day...quite likely you won't spend that every day but it's surprising how quickly money disappears when you're traveling around...at that rate it'd last around 10 days so at a stretch , say 2 weeks...anything more would be a bonus.
What would be the best places to stay at in Brisbane?

I will be going out clubbing so somewhere really close to good clubbing spots would be great!

A. The Stamford Plaza is probably the best hotel, but if you're looking to be near clubs then nothing beats the Emporium in the Valley. Also try limes hotel.
