The Hoxton Hotel in London... How nice is it?

Q. I'm going to London this summer, and I need to know what hotel... I'm thinking about the Hoxton.

how many stars is the hotel, and how many stars do you give it? Like this: Hoxton ____ Me ***

A. It's OK for the money, I stayed there for a night.
But I prefer the Hilton!

London Hostels: What one would you recommend?
Q. We are looking for a hostel to stay in London for 3 nights - anywhere within Tube Zones 1-2 is fine, as we will be exploring London.

I was looking at the Generator Hostel near St. Pancras, or Hillspring Lodge in Willesden Green? Has anyone any experience of these or other hostel suggestions in London.

Thanks :)

The Noel Street Youth Hostel, based in central London, near Oxford Street has had good reviews in the press over the last few years - so I would go for that one.

CLINK 261

A second hostel, which is fairly central, Clink 261, has also received a good review in the national papers.

Day Hotel in London with early check in (10 o' clock)?
Q. I need to be in London for a day, for an interview which is in the afternoon. I need a day hotel with early check in, say 10 o' clock, to relax a bit before the interview, have a quick shower and feel frish and less anxious.
Any Recommendations?

Thanks :)

A. There are no such 'day hotels' in London.
Though Hoxton Hotels did recently start an offer to its returning customers (basically to anyone, just not advertised anyone) to hire rooms out for5 or 6 hours in the morning but you have to call them up to ask them about the offer! Don't know if they are still doing it. Do try.

But for every other hotels, if you pay an 'early check in' fee, usually £10, you can check in at 11 usually. Haven't heard of one that does 10 am. I recommend this website in finding a hotel.
