How do I get from the Britannia International Hotel to Piccadilly Circus?

Q. What is the closest tube station to the Britannia International Hotel? Which train lines do I take and where do I change lines to get from the hotel to Piccadilly Circus?

A. is it the Britannia International on Marsh Wall in Docklands? ... if so, the nearest station is Heron Quays on the Docklands Light Railway ... just a little further on is Canary Wharf station which is on both Docklands Light Railway and the Jubilee line ... look at the tube map

to get to Piccadilly Circus I'd suggest you go to Canary Wharf and take the Jubilee line westbound to Green Park ... you can interchange if you want onto the Piccadilly line eastbound one stop to Piccadilly Circus ... but to be honest it's a fairly short (and interesting) walk from Green Park station along to Piccadilly Circus

A. This depends on Where abouts in Manchester you want your hotel to be and how many stars. The lowest price is A Standard Single room for £47.50 at the 3 star Britannia Hotel

The impressive building boasts a grand balconied staircase with original chandeliers. The bedrooms each have a private bathroom and some have seating areas and work space. All rooms have satellite TV, a trouser press and tea and coffee facilities.

Has anyone stayed at either The Britannia Hotel or the Etap in Birmingham - what did you think?
Q. We're looking for cheap accommodation and these both fit the bill, but some of the reviews are pretty rough. Help us make up our minds between them!

A. Not stayed in either.

However I have stayed at the Britannia's sister the Britannia Airport Hotel in Manchester and it is every bit as bad as the reviews. The chain seems, in my opinion to have somewhat of a bad reputation.

Never stayed in any Etap (i think it is Accor's budget chain - they also own Ibis and Novotel). However, all the ones I have seen are pretty new. I would expect it to be relatively clean and comfortable but very basic in terms of facilities
