A. Of course it depends on what you want to do at the beach, but I think the three best beaches in San Diego are Coronado City Beach, La Jolla Shores, and Del Mar City Beach.

Q. Do you have any favorite historic hotels you just would LOVE to stay at? I've always wanted to stay at the legendary Hotel del Coronado. It opened in 1888 and has a wealth of amazing stories and is steeped in lore.

I also would love to stay at one of the oldest hotels in NYC, Hotel Wolcott, and the setting for "The Shining", The Stanley Hotel (the Overlook in the book). How about you?

A. my favorite is The Julian. its really old and it was a place that Al Capone used to stay at alot, has some tunnels and cool stuff....
and btw, you will totally love The Stanley Hotel, I have been there when visiting Estes Park in Colorado, its amazing, and so cool to know that Stephen King was there and came up with the idea of The Shining while staying there.... my family was there was right before the re-make of The Shining came out that was filmed there...
