Q. Our group(14 pax) is planning to spend an overnight stay in a manila hotel but we'll just reserve 3 de luxe rooms for all of us, since we are on a tight budget. Hotels normally allow only 2 adults and 2 children per room and if its possible, we'll try to avoid paying extras. Is it alright to just sneak-in the rest of the group?
A. some hotels are strict on rules about extra-guests. an option will be for you to negotiate with the hotel-- filipinos are generally giving people and could find ways to bend the rules here and there to be able to accomodate you. another option is to get a suite instead, or a bigger room, which can accomodate more people. i wouldn't recommend sneaking in the extra-guests, because, the same thing with the states, you could get penalized.

A. try discovery suites in ortigas. this one is close to the malls and it's a safe area.it has the same services as the other five star hotels.
