Hotels in Downtown Philadelphia- Any Recommendations?

Q. I am looking for a good hotel in the downtown area of Philly for my Labor Day Weekend Trip! Something that is close to the historical sites as well as not a far walk from good bars.

Anyone know of any good hotels? Anyone have any good or bad experiences at any specific hotel?

A. Love the Sofitel on 17th & Sansom - the decor is excellent and the staff are very nice

Also very good:
Loews Hotel - 12th & Market
Omni Hotel - 4th & Chestnut
Mariott Courtyard Inn has an excellent view of the Ben Franklin Parkway

All are very close to bars... the Omni is located near alot of night life area ... there are a ton of bars/clubs on Chesnut street down in that area ... and its close to South Street

Does anybody know who is hiring in the philadelphia/king of prussia area?
Q. I've tried UPS,Fed Ex,Walmart,U.S Airways,A.S.IG,Lowes,Target,Loews Hotel,Sheraton Hotel,Enterprise Hotel

A. I ran a search on careerbuilder.com - I do not know your level of education but you can sift through the results by using the link below

A Hotel In a Nice part of Philadelphia?
Q. My friends and I are taking a trip to Philadelphia over the summer to catch a weekend baseball series, but we are from detroit and have no idea of any of the areas of philly. Where are the nicer areas of town, and what would be a good hotel there. Also prefferably not too expensive.

A. You can stay at the Hyatt or the comfort inn that's cheaper . They are both on the river and close to the river clubs and olde city .The nicer ones are in Center city like the Loews or the Marriot you can take the Subway right to the stadium
