Where can I find an Egyptian theme comforter?

Q. Anyone know where I can find a good looking Egyptian themed comforter for a king size bed? I've looked everywhere, online and in stores. I'm looking for a nice one possibly like the Cleopatra ones they have in the Luxor hotel in Vegas. I've wrote to them and asked, but they said they don't "sell to the public." Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks!

A. I would make one. Look in fabric stores, I've seen fabric with Egyptian themes, before.

Going to vegas, does the luxor have free breakfast?
Q. im going to vegas soon, and am thinking about staying at the luxor hotel, i was wondering does it have free breakfast, like continental breakfast that many hotels have?
or do we have to end up going out to breakfast?
please reply soon
thanks!

A. To be honest, I don't think any of the hotels have free breakfast. We have gone there many times over the last 20 years and stayed in many of the hotels including the Luxor and haven't run into free breakfast.

Does anyone have good tips for building models ?
Q. My friends and I and building a model of the luxor hotel in the las vegas strip. Does anyone have any ideas as to what we can use to build it or any information about it. If you do it would help a lot. Thanks =)

A. It depends on how old you are or how much experience with molds you have. If you're beginners, I'd suggest using cardboard & white glue. Sounds cheesy, but you can do some amazing stuff with just these materials. You can get heavier stock paper or cardboard at your local craft stores like Michael's. You can also use things you have around your home such as cereal boxes, etc.

If you want to use a little more advanced materials, you can use balsa wood & other wood supplies that are also found in craft stores, they are specifically for model making, but a few extra things are needed in using this, like knives or cutters.

You can use sheets of screen mesh, aluminum, scraps of vinyl (like the flooring I mean, it's easy to cut & shape, only a little harder to keep together.) plaster of paris with news paper for a paper mache, plaster gauze, styrofoam. Anything really if you use your imaginations.

For advanced projects, you can sculpt something from clay, weld metal, cast resin, lots of things, but I don't think you are looking for something like this.

Oh, I just thought of something you may like to try, there is polymer clay such as "Sculpey" or "Fimo" or "Kato" that you get at most craft stores, you can get plane or colored, it's easily moldable, made for adults (not a kids clay), & you bake it in the oven. So if you're making something on a smaller scale, this would work great. It bakes hard & is pretty durable, you can then paint it however you'd like. It's a lot of fun to work with.

Have fun!
