What is the weather like in Las Vegas in March? What is the best way to book a trip to Vegas?

Q. What are the best deals in Vegas - hotels, shows, tours, and buffet. Want to come their end of March for my birthday, don't gamble just want enjoy the sites and food. Need advice!

A. We enjoy going towards the end of March. If you go too early you hit NASCAR and it gets pricey. The weather is mild normally in the 60's low 70's. It gets cool at night so bring a jacket. If you haven't gone to Vegas before I'd suggest going through a Travel Agent, they can give you some great ideas. Have Fun!

Why are Vegas hotels expensive the last week in March?

Q. I see all kinds of ridiculously good deals for Vegas hotels during weekdays (i.e. Mandalay Bay, Venetian for circa $100). However, those same hotels cost $300+ on weekdays in the last week in March? Why is this? Is there a special event? Do you think they will have last minute deals?

When is the off season to travel in Vegas?

Q. My husband and I want to go with another couple to Vegas so that she can get married and we can renew our vows. We got married in Vegas 5 years ago. We want to stay on the strip, like at ceasers or Harrahs. When is the best time for flights and hotel deals?

A. Now is a good time to make reservations. Between now and Christmas and middle of January till end of March is a good time to get deals to Vegas. Always remember to check the Convention Center calendar before booking your flight to make sure there are no major events in town.
