IBIZA RADIO 1 WEEKEND 2009?

Q. Can anyone confirm the Radio 1 weekend dates for Ibiza 2009? I checked the site for Eden (below) which says the 10th anniversary party for Radio 1 is on the 2nd August, can anyone confrm this? Is it being held at Ibiza Rocks again? Called the hotel and didn't get very far. Cheers, Lola xxxx

20/02/09: Ibiza Rocks Hotel will have its opening party on Saturday 30th May - the weekend of the IMS. Ibiza Rocks summer gigs will start on Tuesday 16th June.

Me and girlfriend going to ibiza on holiday 9 - 16th august?

Q. we are going out on the sat for the week, our friends arrive on the following wed for the week. we were looking at a cheap hotel / appartment on the san antonia bay, had a look on trip advisor. We were hoping to spend most time down bay, then some time at friends villa. (SES PAISSES) any ideas anyone? (ps we are there for bay / clubs! - we are 28, and 29)

A. Hotel Arenal is really nice.. we stayed there last year...
and the new Ibiza Rocks hotel (opened yesterday) looks amazing... though might be expensive!
Im staying in Formentera Apartments this year... (I fly out this wednesday)... theyre really cheap and I can let you know what theyre like once I get out there if you like.
try putting some of the names in google and see what you think.
also, http://www.ibiza-spotlight.com/ has a link for accommodation...and is really good for finding out about clubs and restaurants etc.

A question about the Mallorca rocks hotel?

Q. Hi. I'm 19 and I'm going to Majorca with my friends in August for 10 days. We're staying in the Majorca rocks hotel and I've heard two contrasting views. The first,from the hotel site which exhibits the hotel as modern, bright and well kept, not to mention student friendly,(I'm not even in uni yet). The other, reviews I have read are by those who have experienced it first hand. It's often described as seedy,and poorly managed were fights and thefts are a common occurrence. Can anybody who has experienced this hotel enlighten me on what they thought of it?

Ive been in Mallorca Rocks a couple of times and also Im a big fan of Ibiza Rocks concept and Ibiza Rocks Hotel and have to say these guys have changed the way things are done in Baleares. Ibiza Rocks Hotel and Mallorca Rocks Hotel are not a luxury hotel but a great acomodation, clean, colourful and with a great vibe and exciting live concerts happening in the pool area. I highly recommend it!
