Where's better to go on a holiday with all my girlfriends in December? Thailand or Bali?
Q. We want lots of affordable shopping, partying and good food. We also want fun activities to do and lots of massages :)

If anyone has suggestions of which parts are best as well please comment.

A. Linda hi

From your list: you'll get plenty of affordable (very affordable in fact) shopping, partying and some great food in both destinations. Ditto on the massages. Pretty much nothing compares to lying back for an hour after a long day and getting a foot massage. Makes you feel like you're walking on air. Not to be missed.

Thailand does have the edge in terms of activities. Pretty much everything under the sun. Boat trips, island hopping, nature parks, wildlife parks. Bali isn't boring, don't get me wrong - it's just that Thailand has more to do. Plus you're mainland, so Myanmar and Laos are a quick hop away.

For night life, Thailand tops the table in my opinion. Places like Pattaya and Patong are pretty much around the clock.

One thing to keep in mind: December is peak season in Thailand so expect to pay more for hotels. If you do opt for Thailand, check the small print as some hotels will have a compulsory charge for a Christmas and New Year gala dinner - even if you don't actually attend.

Hope you enjoy your holiday.

I Desperately need entertainment for a gala, Leann Rimes are you out there?
Q. I am trying to raise money for our community seniors. They do not have enough money to make it through the month so they have to do without food, medication or bills. This lands them in the hospital and I want to help. I had a gala last year with Bob and Sheri talk show host and we have a local comedy club so a comedian is easy to see. Please I have been trying to get anyone one with a name I felt like Leann Rimes would have a heart and do the gala for free. Nick Lacey, American Idol and many others are 75,000 or more, I am trying to raise money not spend it. Please if you have a link to Leann or if you know someone that would have a heart and help please let me know. I am doing the gala in April 2007.

A. A question first .. do you at least have a budget to pay for transportation and hotel? I have an idea depending where you are.
