How much do you tip a doorman/bagman at a luxury hotel?
Q. I was at the Beverly hills hotel last night and was was if $2 is a good tip for that type of hotel? It's not that im cheap, it's just I never know how much to tip.

A. A doorman should only get a tip if he calls you a taxi.. and someone who carries your luggage to your room .. he should get paid when he does that... that is normal.. I don't know what a bagman is.. but the person who carries everyones heavy luggage they deserve a tip.. the doorman just for saying good morning deserves a smile and a friendly good morning to you, too... xxx

What is the best hotel or resort to stay in for a honeymoon in Beverly Hills,CA?
Q. This will be our first time going to california and we heard that Beverly Hills is beautiful, we would like it to be no more then 500 dollars a night but a nice hotel or resort for a 5 day honeymoon stay, that is close to alot of attraction! any suggestion!

A. Congratulations.
Beverly Hills is a city much like Manhattan, NYC. The difference is that Beverly Hills does not really have any open space (no Central Park). I wouldn't really call it beautiful.
If you remember the scene in Pretty Woman where Julia Roberts goes shopping - that is the "just" of Beverly Hills.
The Beverly Hills Hotel is really the only resort = www.beverlyhillshotel.com/
The Montage might also have what you are looking for

Also there is really no place in Los Angeles that is close to all the attraction. LA is spreadout.

I think you might enjoy someplace better like:
Shutters in Santa Monica
Terrenea in Palos Verdes
Langham in Pasadena
St Regis, Ritz, or Montage in Dana Point
or the boutique hotels in the Hollywood Hills.
