Q. i've heard it on the radio o few times, Tropicana hotel/casino is going bankrupt. Would it effect my winning if i played there? Would there problem effect me in any way? My hunny and I are planning a valentines getaway to the Tropicana in Atlantic City, NJ. I would like to know any info being making the reservations. Thanks =]
A. Its fine to stay there as far as your winning being secure. The hotels gambling loses are insured and legally they would have to pay out anything they lose. Even if they shutdown. But being bankrupt does not mean anything will even change.
However, the hotel sucks. I mean SUCKS. Its a total dump. the Rooms look like some sleezy Miami hotel in 1976. There are so many good deals in Vegas right now that its not worth it to skimp and stay at a place like the Trop.

A. Cheap? Not in AC. However, the Tropicana NEEDS your business so I'm sure you'd get a great deal. The Borgata is the most expensive. The older casinos like the Trop, Bally's or Caesar's will give more value for your dollar.
