What is the best value summer party hotel?

Q. Dear people,

My friends ad I are looking for a good party hotel in Miami beach. I know about delade and fountainebleau but they are really expensive. We want to stay 6 nights in august with 4 guys and spend about $2000,- We are also going to LA and LV so 2000 is whats left of our budget So about $330 a night.

We are looking for a good party atmosphere. We like to meet new people, so not a family hotel where everyone is on themselfs. we prefer a room with kitchen but that is not a requirement, an outside pool is! We also prefer a hotel close to the beach.

In LA we stay in the roosevelt and in lv in hard rock. I found the following miami beach hotels: Loews, Boulan, Marriott, Congress hotel, Albion, SLS, Shelbourne, casanova suites.

Can someone give us some advise please?

Thanks!

Erik from the Netherlands

A. We use, ResortQuest or, Traveladvisor, perfect for all your travel needs. They have open forums, used by well traveled people, ask, you will get answers. plenty of places, try Timeshres, condos, great choices, have fun!

Can you help me choose between these 3 Marriott miami hotels?
Q. I have to choose between these 3 and don't know which one to choose:
1. Courtyard by Marriott Miami Beach Oceanfront
2. Marriott Miami Dadeland
3. JW Marriott Hotel Miami

Which one would you choose? price doesn't matter right now.

A. This will depend on where you want to be

Marriott Dadeland on Kendal Drive caters to Business Travel
Courtyard by Marriott is a grade below a Marriot but Ocean is nice
JW is more upscale and closer to Downtown.
Maybe you would like the Marriot Harbour Beach in FTL. Nicer place, On Ocean
Check out Fodors it will help

How do I go about doing this ?
Q. how much would you have to save up for 7 days at miami, Hotel cost for the week and nightclubs ?

A. depends where you stay and what you plan on doing(site seeing, tours etc.) and if your flying. all that said i wouldn't wanna go there with less than $2000, miami can be expensive, plus taxi fare or renting a car if you dont have one available and it seems like you want to hit the hot spots and get your party on and we all know how those times can suck our wallets dry. $4000 would be an ideal versatile amount for me, if your just looking to cover basic expenses and not do anything too extravagant then you will be far beyond fine, safety first too ;]
