What are some decent, inexpensive hotels near Greenwich Village, NY?

Q. I am going to visit NYU the first week of August and am wanting to stay in a cheap hotel. Any suggestions?

A. New York hotels are pretty expensive compared to most places! Take a look at the price and rating list at this site. You can see that almost all their hotels are priced above $200. There are some cheaper than that. The New Jersey solution might not be a bad idea!

what is the closest city in new jersey to new york city?
Q. I am going to new york but i am on a budget and the hotels in new jersey are way cheaper but what is the closest city in jersey to new york city?

A. Jersey City. You'll definitely be able to find cheaper hotel rooms in downtown Jersey City. Downtown Jersey City is exactly like New York..you can think of it as an extension. All you gotta do is take a
bus or train to reach New York within 10 minutes.

Even better, you'll be able to see the NYC skyline from your hotel room. NYC is right across the river.

Thinking of going to the beach for a couple days I live in New Jersey?
Q. I been to Seaside Heights I like it and love the boardwalk but I don't like the fact that I have to pay for the 3 days that I will be staying to go in the beach... I never been to Wildwood or Ocean City do you have to pay also? Can you recommend any cheap cool hotels?

A. tin oc you need a beach tag but idk about wildwood, but wildwood is kinda crappy it can get scary at night . oc is really small and boring its more of a day time place and wildwood is more night. and as for hotel prices idk because i live in ocean city but the flanders is gorgeous but it looks expensive. there are a million hotels and motels that look nice so you can find one. in oc you have to go to mac and mangos pizza, 7th street surf shop, heritage surf shop and Johnson's popcorn. if i had to pick a better beach i would deff say ocean city but wildwood has a way better boardwalk
