A. Alantic city is a crack head infested money trap. Keep your expectations low and your credit cards hidden and you will have a good time. The further you get from the board walk the more ghetto it gets. Motels there will be 25 to 30 a night. But try the casinos first you can find good deals a lot of the time. 30 to 50 and a world of diffrence.

A. Atlantic City has 10 prime weekends of the year. And they are expensive. Even the crappy motels along the White Horse Pike out in Absecon get close to $150 on weekends.
If you want a cheap hotel, become a big gambler. If you drop about $50,000 over the course of a year at a casino, you can get free hotel rooms at the casinos all year long.
