What are the Burj Khalifa's dimensions?

Q. I am interested in knowing the dimensions of the worlds tallest building. I already know it is around 800m tall, what I am interested in are the dimensions of the ground floor.

A. The Armani Hotel Dubai covers the concourse, ground floor, levels 1 to 8 and levels 38 & 39 of Burj Khalifa with 160 rooms comprising 269,000 sq ft.

Burj Khalifa has a floor area of 334,000 square meters (3,595,146 square feet).

The floor plans are as follows: B1âB2 are for parking and mechanical. The concourse, ground and floors 1â8 are for the Armani Hotel. Floors 9â16 are for the Armani Residences; floors 17â18 are mechanical and floors 19â37 for Armani Residences.

The 38â39 floors of Burj Khalifa are for the Armani Hotel suites. 40â42 are mechanical and the 43rd floor is the sky lobby. 44â72nd floors are residential, 73â75 mechanical, 76 sky lobby and 77â108 residential.

The 109â110 are mechanical, the 111â121st floors corporate suites and the 122nd floor the Atmosphere restaurant. Floor 123 is the sky lobby, 124 the At the Top observatory and the 125â135 floors corporate suites. 136â138 are mechanical and 139â154 corporate suites. Floor 155 is mechanical, 156-159 for broadcast, 160 and above mechanical.

Burj Khalifa also has the highest swimming pool, located on the 76th floor. The Burj Khalifa also has a fountain 275 m (900 ft) long that shoots 150 m (490 ft) high water in the air.

cheap accommodation in Deira or Bur dubai?
Q. what is the cheapest rate per night in such areas? Im going there for a three day vacation. For most of the day I will be out exploring different attractions. I might be there just for a good night sleep and a small rest in between.

A. For the "Burj Dubai", I'm assuming you mean the Burj Khalifa, as it was renamed on the opening day. In the Burj Khalifa, they have the Armani Hotel. It's very beautiful and classic chic, I've stayed there before.
But it's quite expensive. Here's the website: http://www.burjkhalifa.ae/

As for in Deira, they have the Sheraton Deira Hotel, which is also very nice, but also quite expensive. Go to: http://www.sheratondeiradubai.com/ for the hotel room rates.

Burj Khalifa observatory deck question?
Q. I am visiting Dubai this year and want to visit the Burj Khalifa observatory deck. I will already be staying in the Burj Khalifa for three nights, in the Armani hotel but I am pretty sure I would still have to pay full price to visit the observation deck anyway? So I was wondering, how much would it be per person (adult) Thank you

A. better ask the Armani hotel about this , but even so if you had to pay it is like $27 (100 AED), not a big amount for a guest of Armani. All you have to do is make a reservation to go to the deck.
