How much would it cost to travel to San Diego from Toronto?

Q. How much would it cost to fly down to San Diego from Toronto? Any nice hotels in the area?? in the Summer time..
What are the main attractions? There..

A. The least expensive flight I found was 608 on Continental leaving on 9/12 and returning on 9/24.

I booked a room on priceline at the Hilton Mission Bay for $90 a night last year. I would visit their website for hotel discounts.

For a list of attractions contact the San Diego Convention & Visitors Bureau. You can puechase CityPass cards there for great discounts at the SD Zoo, Legoland, and other attractions. There website is www.sandiego.org/

How difficult is it to find work in Toronto, Canada?
Q. I am Indonesian and suddenly the thought of moving and working in Toronto came to mind (lol)

Toronto seems to be one of the largest financial centers of the world and that's just the field that I'm currently studying in (finance). In addition, Toronto is also one of the world's "most livable" cities so living and working there would be a blast!

I have zero work experience so far and I am still very young (just turned 19) and finished my undergrad with bad gpa. I would like to start searching for work there probably within 1-2 years ahead after finishing my postgraduate studies. Perhaps getting into one of the big five banks would be smashing!

So yeah, you can see the question title, and how's the competition level for work in finance sector for Toronto?

A. Virtually impossible.

It is illegal for non-citizens to work in Canada, or even look for Canada will in Canada without a valid work permit or permanent residency.

In order to even apply for a work permit, you must have a job offer from a Canadian company which has permission from Citizenship and Immigration Canada to hire foreign workers -- specially they must obtain a labour market opinion (LMO) from HRSDC which shows a shortage of workers in Canada in that profession. This is limited to either highly skilled professions (doctors, engineers, nurses, specialized trades, etc.) or highly temporary jobs (seasonal farm workers, ski resorts, some remote hotels, etc.) Even skilled workers can spend years trying to find a job offer.. and never do. When such jobs are available, thousands of people from the United States, China, India, and other country are typically applying for them.

Will it be difficult for 2 teens to take a road trip to Toronto?
Q. Im 18 and my girlfriend is 17. We're from Pennsylvania and both have legal passports. We're planning on driving up to Toronto and staying for like 3 days and 2 nights. Would we be able to cross the Canadian border if she is still a minor? And if we take like $900 would that be enough for 3 days including gas and everything?

A. That will not be enough, and you may have trouble at the boarder. She will notorized letters from her parents.

You will have a difficult time renting a hotel. Most require that you are 21. Summer is peak season so you are looking at upwards of $150/night for a cheap room. There are very few hostels into toronto.

Between food, hotel, entertainment and gas you probably do not have enough.
