How is the Neighborhood around the Orleans Hotel and Casino?

Q. I am staying at the Orleans Hotel in January, i am really excited to stay there because I hear the service is great and it's more of a local hotel then a Touristy Strip Hotel.
I was just wondering how the Neighborhood is around there at night, i might walk from here to the Strip but I here it's far, and I heard theres an In N Out down the street as well

Just wanted to know how the Area around it is

Thanks

A. When in january? the reason I ask is that if its during CES, you will be walking with the ladies at night. The cheap ones walk that route instead of cabbing to save money.

The In-n-Out is about a mile down the road. And always busy!!

The orlean's itself is a great Hotel. popular with the locals. has bowling, movie theatre as well as nice people.

How important is staying at a hotel located in the middle of all the action?
Q. Would you be willing to spend $50 - $75 more per night?

Hotels in the French Quarter in New Orleans.
Hotels on the beach in Hawaii.
Hotels on the Strip in Las Vegas.

A. Spending the extra money could save you all cab fares, as you could walk too and from location. If you're staying at a hotel, I'd assume that you're on vacation, and you want to have a good time.
Is spending an extra 50 bucks worth not having to worry about going 10 minutes to the action? Also, don't underestimate the view. If the hotel is downtown, you will have a great night view of all the bustling action.
If I were you, I would spend the little extra and have a wonderful time.

How do I get tickets for a concert inside the Disney World Park? Info?
Q. also thank you all for your response to my Port Orleans Hotel question!

A. It really depends on what kind of concert it is and when it is. If the concert takes place during regular park hours inside the theme park then you will most likely have to pay theme park admission. However, if the concert takes place after-hours, during a special event, or in a designated area, then you probably need to purchase tickets for that specific speical event and will not have to pay park admission.

For example, the upcoming concert series at Epcot during the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival takes place during regular park hours inside the park, therefore you must pay regular park admission to see those concerts. However, the annual Night of Joy christian rock concert at Magic Kingdom takes place after-hours as a special event, therefore you only need to pay for the special event ticket and nothing else.

If you provide details on what concert you are talking about I might be able to help you with that.
