What is the best/ least expensive way to visit Normandy from Paris?
Q. So my girlfriend and I are visiting Paris this summer, but we would like to spend a couple days touring the D-day sites in Normandy too. Does anyone have any advice on how we should go about doing this? I'm just curious about how we should get to Normandy from Paris, where we should stay, if we should rent a car, what we should try to see, etc. We are on somewhat of a budget, but not quite "penny pinchers." Any information really helps since we are both first time visitors. Thank you in advance!

what is the least expensive hotel in Catalina Island?
Q. I'd like to go for a couple of days to Catalina Island, on a tight budget, looking for the least expensive hotel, any suggestions?
A. I stayed at the Hotel Atwater. It's really close to the boardwalk and I don't remember it being super expensive. Not sure how tight your budget is, but I even got a package deal for the boat trip there and back, the room and a couple of sight seeing tours.
