Anyone know a good website to get design templates from?

Q. I am trying to design a hotel key card holder and need to download a free template for PS CS4 or Quark 8.

A. Take a look here: http://www.freewebsitetemplates.com/
Also, maybe in a website designers directory: http://www.webossum.com/

How do you become an interior designer who designs commercial spaces?
Q. I have a degree in marketing and I would love to design retail spaces, hotel lobbies, ect. I just don't know how to get started.

A. If you can go back to school to get an interior design degree, then do so. There may be schools in your area that will allow you to do your schooling at night. Take a look at this list http://interior-design-schools.us/search-by-school/

If going back to school is not an option for you, then build your portfolio. Note that it will be harded to land a commercial space client if you have no experience, no portfolio and no design background

Try these steps

- Find friends or acquaintances who are interested in redesigning their home space. This will give you a feel for working with clients, and allow you to build on your portfolio.

- Once you have built a solid portfolio, try to find employment with a design firm doing commercial spaces. This will allow you to get the inside knowledge of suppliers, contacts and even potential clients
